Penn State has selected Anthony Travel as its University-wide travel provider, serving both Intercollegiate Athletics and the business travel needs of faculty and staff. Anthony Travel will begin ticketing and managing reservations made through Travel OnLion beginning Aug. 28^th.

Anthony Travel will also provide full service travel-booking services for the University, including air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, group travel and other services as requested. As part of the partnership, both Intercollegiate Athletics and University business travelers will benefit from account managers dedicated exclusively to Penn State. Anthony Travel will also provide access to an after-hours service so travelers can quickly resolve issues when on the road outside of normal business hours.

Anthony Travel will be an approved travel agency, meaning no comparisons are needed when travel is booked through Anthony Travel.  There will also be no booking fees.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 28th, University business travelers may book with Anthony Travel from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling 814-258-6111 or 833-827-3331, or emailing [email protected]. Travelers requiring after-hours emergency service can call 888-669-3948. Travel can also still be booked online by visiting travel.psu.edu and selecting “Travel OnLion.” 

Please note that reservations made through Travel OnLion prior to August 28^th will be viewable by the Anthony Travel agents.  They will provide assistance along with the airlines to make changes to existing reservations if needed.

As part of this transition, the Travel OnLion booking tool will be unavailable from Friday, August 25^th at noon through Monday, August 28^th at 8:00am.  Credit card information stored in traveler’s profiles will not be passed to Anthony Travel, therefore, travelers and travel arrangers will need to input their pcard or personal credit card information into their Concur profile before any new reservations are made.  In addition, existing itineraries will no longer be viewable within traveler’s trip library.  If the traveler or travel arranger does not have a copy of an existing itinerary, we recommend that you save a copy prior to Friday, August 25^th at noon.  After this date, existing itineraries must be obtained from the airlines.  Please plan accordingly.
